VAA provided architectural, structural, and civil engineering services for the new 26,000 SF True Friends Camp Courage Recreation Center. The facility features a large indoor pool with a splash pad, a gymnasium with a spectator viewing platform, and a climbing wall. Located on a wooded hillside surrounded by wetlands, the project presented unique site and connectivity challenges. VAA developed an integrated design that carefully addressed the difficult terrain and environmental conditions while creating seamless connections to multiple existing camp buildings.
